Haha, thanks. I didn't include a link because that'd be too much for me. But hey, www.cute-poison.eu

I have the exact opposite problem, especially after running with CP tanks - they don't need healing in heroics so I end up killing time by dpsing. Then, with PuG tanks, I sometimes stress myself out by dpsing too much.

I am not really worried about others performance, because I know how much I can carry as healer and as long as there is not much wipe cost involved for me, I can go on and on and I literally don't run out of mana. I somehow mind people "slacking" though. I believe most of people who read this have the same - before we venture to anything with our new toons on 80, we get really sure we are prepared for it. Hell, I am still affraid to step into the new ICC heroics or TotC with Chmur, yet I had to heal worse geared tanks in there. That's my pet hate.

And yeah, I read the post on RO, the quote is one of my favourite at the moment.

Hooray for new posts and all hail the new Guild Master! Perhaps a link to your guild website would be in order?

I've stopped bothering to inspect people in PUGs. I can tell from a brief eyeball (if I even bother with that) what sort of gear quality they have, but it rarely correlates to their performance or personality. And with tier-9-heroic healing gear it doesn't make much difference what the tank's wearing. I tend to just sit back and enjoy letting other people "do the work" even if they're doing it slower or "badder" than I'm used to. (I find healing heroics very relaxing - I'm afraid I generally don't help with DPS while I'm healing unless I'm very bored indeed.)

Oh, and how about this quote from Righteous Orbs about tanking random heroics as a paladin:
"Just because I have spells on my bars which can compensate for your stupidity, that doesn’t mean I’m obliged to use them."
